We went on the bus to go ice skating. We went to the MRC in Rockland, Maine. The first lesson we went by number like 1-8 & 9-16 for 30 minutes. We were there to learn how to ice skate. We had instructors. Jessie is the safety instructor and in charge. The second and third time we skated for an hour. We had a 15-30 minute lesson. Then we had free time that means we get to skate around listening to music. We ate lunch there then we went back to GSB.

Early in the morning we came to school so we could get on the weather forecast. Ted Mcinerny is the weatherman on channel 8 WMTW. He told us to wave when he was done talking, we had short 10 minute breaks in between recordings. We ran inside to get to warm. He came into our classroom later on in the day. He told us about a green screen that they use to record. He showed us a picture of him on the green screen, but just his head! His camera man showed us his camera it was really heavy.
The radio program
In music, we made a radio program. We were assigned scripts and used pro tools for the recordings and sound effects. It is six minutes and thirty six seconds and we worked three months on it. it sounds amazing. We used mics to record the scripts and we had tec helpers. It was fun and we had to search for sound effects and import them. We had to bounce it three times and that made us have to listen to it three times. it’s called “how the stars fell into the sky” and the final bounce is called the really final bounce with the third grade. It was a lot of fun to make the radio program.
